Our Story
Newport Blacksmith Shop has been serving horse owners, barns, and tack retailers from the heart of Lancaster County, Pennsylvania since 1973. What began with shoeing horses, repairing farm machinery, and building the original Horseshoe Door Latch quickly grew into a full line of dependable stable accessories designed for everyday use.
As horse owners and working craftsmen, we understood the need for products built to last and made to handle real barn life. From our first saddle stands and door latches to today's catalog of more than 50 American-made products, every piece is created with durability, function, and quality in mind.

What We Make
Our standard product line includes saddle stands, blanket racks, tack racks, boot scrapers, hay and grain feeders, pasture feeders, bridle hangers, and more, all designed to help keep barns organized, efficient, and looking their best.
Beyond our standard line, we also provide custom fabrication and repair work for barns and stables. That includes stall doors and grills, chew guards, feed troughs, stair railings, stainless steel water troughs, and other custom metalwork built to fit your needs.
